

CO2 emissions from biomass combustion is not included in greenhouse gas totals because it contains biogenic carbon (from a living resource) and so is called 'carbon neutral'. Further "...reading an item on a cmputer emits greenhouse gasses at the rate of 3.8g of CO2 per minute. Reading a piece of paper results in no additional emissions."
